The cost of the workshops is $60 for the day. They run from 9:00 am until 3:30 or 4:00 pm. For those who sign up, I email you a photo of what I will be working from, so that you can have it drawn before you come to the class. I work on Arches cold press 300 lb paper, but if you prefer, you can use 140 lb cold press. If you choose to work on a different brand of paper other than Arches, you will limit me as to how much I will be able to help you. There is a paper out there under the name of Arches but is  called Canson Moulin Du Roy by Arches----do not buy this-----you will not be able to paint on it.  It is impossible for me to help anyone using this paper.  You won't be able to follow me and do what I have demonstrated on this paper.  I don't want you to be disappointed and feel that watercolor is not for you---that could happen if you try to paint on this paper. It is always a good idea to bring extra paper to class just in case you would decide to start over or do a second painting.

The workshops are for all levels of watercolor painting---so if you are a beginner just bring what supplies you have and if you don't have any supplies let me know and I can give you supplies for your first class.  Then you will have a much better idea what to buy in the way of supplies.  It works better this way, rather than me trying to tell you what to buy---and to keep you from buying things you really don't need.  Paper would be the only thing you would need to purchase for the class to do your drawing on.

The workshops are held in my home, so I have limited space. I can take up to 8 people for a class.  You will have a table space of about 2 feet by 3 feet to work on. Directions to my home are available under the contact link on this site.

Once I have enough people to hold a class I will then contact you and you will need to send me a check for $60 for the class.  Make it out to Suzanne Mays---and mail it to 2659 Chestnut Ln,  Fennville,  MI 49408.  If for some reason you do not attend the class your refund will be a total of $30. 

I will ask everyone to bring something to share for lunch and I have coffee and rolls or muffins of some sort for when you arrive.

If you are interested in taking one of my workshops, email me at art.by.suzanne@hotmail.com and ask to be put on my email list for workshops. Then, when I plan a workshop, you will be notified by email of the possible dates for upcoming workshops. You can then respond if interested.

Some of you have signed my sheet at the art fairs to be put on my email list for my workshops.  A lot of your emails have been returned to me and I have no way of contacting you.  If you have signed up to be on my mailing list and have not received any emails from me----check your junk mail or send me an email and ask to be put on my mailing list. It would help also to have a cell phone number so I could text you if I have your email incorrect. I look forward to having you in one of my workshops.
